This worksheet generator contains UK coins from the UK Royal Mint*. This page is designed primarily for K - 2, Key Stage 1 (KS1), Key Stage 2 (KS2). It's a great way for children to learn their corresponding coins and name/amount for handwriting practice.
The worksheet generator contains the full range of U. K. coins from which a wide variety of custom worksheets can be made. The "Select Coins" drop down menu allows the selection of five coins to be used in your worksheet. The "Left Column" drop down menu provides ascending, descending or randomized arrangement of the coins selected. The "Right Column" drop down menu permits selection of two types of text format. Follow these steps to make your worksheet.
1. Enter Name (optional)
2. Select Coins
Option 1: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 (default)
Option 2: 1, 5, 10, 20, 50
Option 3: 2, 5, 10, 20, 50
Option 4: 10, 20, 50, £1, £2
Option 5: Auto Select:
(1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1, £2: randomly selects five amounts)
3. From the "Left Column" menu, select coin side: Heads only, Tails only, or Heads and Tails.
(If Heads and Tails, the money generator will randomly flip the coins.)
4. Select Order Options: Ascending, Descending or Randomized for the left column.
5. From the "Right Column" menu, select the type of text format required.
This worksheet covers the following coin names:
Option 1: 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1, and £2. or
Option 2: 1 penny, 2 pence, 5 pence, 10 pence, 20 pence, 50 pence, 1 pound, 2 pound.
6. Select Order Options: Ascending, Descending or Randomized for the right column.
7. Click on submit to make your personalized money worksheet.
8. Option: Page back and click Submit to create a different order of coins.
